“Alien Day” on April 26th Will Bring TONS of Goodies, Including Ripley’s Reeboks!

April 26th has been dubbed Alien Day by Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products as the date, 4/26, is a nod to LV-426, the planet that made its appearance in both Alien and Aliens. To celebrate such a beloved franchise, Fox has teamed up with several outlets to create some fantastic products that will be the hottest items this year for any Xenomorph fan!

For example, Fox teamed up with Reebok to create the “Alien Stomper” that was worn by Sigourney Weaver’s “Ellen Ripley” in Aliens. They’ll be made available on Alien Day via their website as well as in select Reebok stores nationwide.

Another example is that NECA will be releasing the first ever Lieutenant Vasquez and Newt figures!

  • RidleyScott

Epic. Alien and Aliens were the 6th and 7th highest grossing films of their respective years. It’s time to put this franchise back on top and back into the cultural lexicon. For good. Thankfully we have Ridley Scott coming to rock our world.

    • Gadriel

Shouldn’t that be that he’s the Riddler?

    • PsychoMantis18

Except that Scott hasn’t made a great film in almost 20 years.

      • alwayswipetwice

THE MARTIAN! Fucking rocked my world.
That aside, at least his shitty films look gorgeous. He’s a master of cinematography.

        • PsychoMantis18

I can agree with the second part.

          • MarsupialRebellion

Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator? Yeah.

          • PsychoMantis18

Gladiator was very good although no classic in my eyes. Kingdom and BHD were meh.

  • alwayswipetwice

Can’t wait to see what Fright-Rags has up their sleeve…

  • Fracassi

Why do I get the feeling those sweet kiks are gonna run about $1500?

  • PsychoMantis18

How about less Aliens junk and more Alien sweet-stuff.

  • Halloween_Vic

That’s pretty cool!!! They should make the shoes in a black and acid green color to represent the Xeno itself.

  • Me wants some sneakers :O
