Universal has already announced that they are bringing the The Mummy, which stars Tom Cruise, to us in June of 2017 and The Invisible Man, which stars Johnny Depp, in April 2018. But now they’re giving us yet another classic monster tale on February 15th, 2019, according to Universal. The studio is not saying what monster this movie will be but if we were to look at the classic Universal monsters, we’re left with the Wolf Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein, and Dracula. They might also have a Bride of Frankenstein idea brewing, which would be fantastic, but it’s simply unknown what their full vision is at this point.
Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan are overseeing this new universe, which will see each of the movies having some sort of interaction with the others, kinda like how the MCU films all play into each other. The pair spoke about their vision in an interview last year.
