Is Blake Lively the film’s actual monster?
You’ve got to see this new one-sheet for The Shallows, which is one of the worst botched Photoshop jobs I’ve seen in years.
The poster is all about Lively, who plays a surfer attacked by a great white shark and stranded just a short distance from shore. It shows her, standing strong, as a shark approaches from the background. Only, for whatever reason, she looks like a zombie.

No, seriously. Look what they did to her eyes. It only gets worse from there as her ribcage looks like the designer went AWOL with the smudge tool, and her arm is weirdly decaying. How in God’s name did this get approved?!
It’s really a shame considering how striking of an image was used. Whatever happened, The Shallows still looks cool as all hell. It swims into theaters on June 24th.
