Joel Schumacher’s 1987 The Lost Boys is a horror classic, but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. In fact, us horror fans have been lovingly poking fun at it for years.
But this takes the cake.
One of my biggest movie pet peeves is when a character’s name is overused. Think about your own personal interactions with friends and family, how often do you actually say their name aloud? It’s a lot less than you’d think…
So, when I saw this fan-edit of The Lost Boys, I couldn’t stop laughing, but also felt the sting in knowing that I’ll never be able to “unsee” this.
Dan Nixon uploads the following video that edits down The Lost boys into a mere 1:39. Basically, the experiment reveals that you can watch the entire moving through the characters’ constant overuse of “Michael”, which is called upon a whopping 114 times!
