People have been wondering for years and years what Stephen King’s Dark Tower would look like if adapted into a movie. With an entry that is being hailed as sequel to the series being filmed, it was only a matter of time before a trailer came out and gave us a peek into that world. Today, we’re getting that only it’s in the form of an unfinished trailer that managed to sneak its way online.
Missing a lot of post-FX and featuring a few wires that need to be digitally erased, the trailer explains the story of Tom Taylor’s Jake, who is drawn through dreams and visions to find Mid-World, a place that he knows exists but cannot prove. Once there, he realizes that there is a connection between his home and the place where the Man in Black and the Gunslinger reside and that he might have opened a doorway that will lead to the destruction of everyone he knows and loves.
