‘Replace’ Festival Art Goes Full Warhol (Exclusive)

Published

on

Re-Animator and From Beyond star Barbara Crampton recently returned to acting in Adam Wingard’s You’re Next, before appearing in last year’s acclaimed We Are Still Here, as well as Sun Choke and Beyond the Gates.

Next up for the genre maven is Replace, directed by first-time filmmaker Norbert Keil, a horror-thriller starring Rebecca Forsythe (We Are Your Friends) as a young woman who is afflicted with a strange disease. When she starts to age rapidly, she discovers that she can replace her own skin with the skin of others to maintain her beauty.

Bloody Disgusting has an exclusive look at a pair of festivals one-sheets for the body horror indie that will surely get under your skin. The posters are variations of the original that look like something Andy Warhol would have created. Very cool indeed!

In addition to Forsythe and Crampton, Replace stars Lucie Aron and Sean Knopp, while the script was written by Keil and, get this, Richard Stanley, the director of Hardware and Dust Devil!

The world premiere for Replace will take place at the 35th Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film (BIFFF) on April 11. Producer Felix von Poser, writer/director Norbert Keil, stars Rebecca Forsythe, Lucie Aron and Sean Knopp will all be there, as well as director of photography Tim Kuhn and production designer Fryderyk Swierczynski!
