Fresh off this year’s Lowlife, which earned him favorable comparisons to Quentin Tarantino, director Ryan Prows is next helming what’s being described as a “high-concept genre film” titled Night Patrol. Via Deadline, Entertainment One will finance the film and control its worldwide distribution.
In Night Patrol…
“An African-American LAPD officer must put aside his differences with the area’s street gangs when he discovers a local police task force is harboring a horrific secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in.”
Prows wrote the film with Shaye Ogbonna, Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson.
David Goyer and Keith Levine will produce.
