NSFW: Cattle Decapitation Assault the Senses With “Clandestine Ways (Krokodil Rot)” (Exclusive)

We’ve been longtime supporters and fans of deathgrind band Cattle Decapitation. When no one else would dare show the world their video for “Forced Gender Reassignment”, we stepped up, planted our feet firmly, and premiered the controversial clip. And since then, we’ve proudly premiered several other Cattle Decap videos, each of which assaults the senses, both visually and aurally.

Today, we’re continuing that trend by bringing you the exclusive US video premiere for “Clandestine Ways (Krokodil Rot)”, which is directed by long-time collaborator Mitch Massie, who also directed “Forced Gender Reassignment”. The song is a terrifying commentary on animal experimentation for cosmetics research, only the lyrics turn the tables around and the tests are being conducted on the humans who previously held the animals captive.

Vocalist Travis Ryan explains to BD:

Mitch Massie once again hurls us into a nightmarish world of the eye-for-an-eye table turning that Cattle Decapitation lyrics exude, but this time in a much more surreal manner. Here we see the circus has come to town and with it a grisly ‘freaks’ exhibit featuring the barbaric aftermath of what the protagonists (the ‘Ringmaster’ and a freed ‘specimen’) have done to the leading researchers at Cosmeugenics Laboratories – a place where Cosmetics testing is performed on earthen creatures all in the name of Human vanity – but this time by completely incorrectly administering the clandestine, flesh-eating drug ‘krokodil’. I’ll leave out the horrific details as you’ll have to see that for yourself!

Now, even though this video states that it’s the “censored” version, do not be fooled. There is still nudity, violence, gore, and torture, so be VERY careful on when and where you decide to watch this.

You can pick up your copy of The Anthropocene Extinction via Metal Blade Records.

If this is the censored version where do I find the uncensored one?

After watching it, I don’t think it’s actually that bad now.

That was fucked up. Surprised some crybaby hasn’t flagged it yet.

Well that’s one way to discourage animal testing.

  • GinsuVictim

Shitty cookie monster vocals, constant double bass, and a revolting band name – boring, textbook bullshit.

      agreed

    Fucking excellent.

these type of groups (no offence to those who enjoy) but to me they really are the new boybands.

…cool video, but am I the only one who’s okay with companies testing beauty products like hand creams & shampoo on animals? I don’t really feel comfortable buying something totally untested, going home to apply it, then having it melt my skin off, ya know? N no, I’m not saying/implying it’s okay to torture animals.
    Idk, maybe it’s just me.

    • MoreFreedomLessFreeloaders

There are plenty of people out there who are more than willing to test products for a fee. These companies are just a bunch of cheap jackasses.

  • MoreFreedomLessFreeloaders

I’m against animal testing but this band is full of a bunch of pretentious, psycho vegans. Every damn song is about them making some far left political statement. It got old awhile ago.
