An artist that we’ve always loved and enjoyed here on Bloody-Disgusting is Detroit-based electronic guru Celldweller. His music has been used in trailers, video games, movies, TV shows, and more, always adding a splash of chaos and excitement. Plus, Klayton is a damn nice guy as well, so that only helps.
A project that Klayton recently resurrected was Circle of Dust, which was based in industrial metal but still bears all the sonic textures and intricacies that he’s known for today. It’s exciting music that pounds and assaults while simultaneously thrilling its listener. That’s why we’re excited to bring you the exclusive premiere of the brand new video for “alt_Human”, which comes from the newly released album Machines of our Disgrace.
Shot in black and white with very particular usage of color (specifically blood red), the video strongly reminded me of both Fear Factory’s “Linchpin” video as well as the 1989 Japanese cyber horror/thriller Shinya Tsukamoto film Tetsuo: The Iron Man. If either of these comparisons generate interest for you, then you’ve gotta check this video out!
You can get Machines of our Disgrace via iTunes.
