‘Doc Macabre’ Likes A Little Science With His 6 Page Preview Of Issue #2

To me, Steve Niles’ (“30 DAYS OF NIGHT”) newest monthly from publisher IDW, “DOC MACABRE”, reminds me of “DEXTER’S LABORATORY” with a huge horror twist mixed in. Whatever it is, it works, and the series is one of my new favorites in the horror/weird science/reanimated dead/sci-fi sub-genre…if that is a sub-genre… In any event you can check out the 6 page preview of the second issue that drops on January 5th if you make the jump. Read on for the skinny!

WRITTEN BY: Steve Niles

“Back at his homebase, the good Doctor asks his butler/lab assistant robot, Llyod, to help him build an Ecto-Refractor Suit and get his latest invention, the Ecto-Fusion Coil, back up and running to summon back the ghost that attacked him last issue! But he soon finds out that the apparition is a scam and sends Lloyd on a mission which means the robot must venture outside of the headquarters… for the first time ever!”

“DOC MACABRE” Issue #2 Drops January 5th From IDW Publishing! (MSRP-$3.99)
