We are just 24 hours away from the biggest comic book convention in the history of the Mid-West with C2E2 and already news is rolling in. Today it was announced that offshoot of “CROSSED” publisher Avatar: Boundless will be bringing back the popular cult seductress “LADY DEATH”. Fans haven’t seen anything new from the character since the last series ended all the way back in 2007, but that will all change this winter as the publisher promises an entirely new series. Inside you can can get all the details.
“Later this year, Lady Death will make her comeback to comic books as penned by her creator Brian Pulido and co-writer Mike Wolfer under the Boundless Comics banner, a new company founded by William Christensen and his partners at Avatar Press (who also released the character’s last series in 2007).
The new comics, which were promised to present a darker spin on the franchise, would involve the workd of Wolfer (known for Avatar work on series like “Gravel”) and Pulido. “This is not some glossy new spin on the classic Lady Death,” noted Christensen. “It’s a relentless take on what makes the character great.
