There is part of me that loves the re-representations of some of my favorite horror tales from popular prose, and then there is the other half that absolutely abhores it. However, when it comes to IDW Publishing they usually hit the nail on the head, and we can all hope that that will be the case come August when they release the Sam Keith illustrated “EDGAR ALLAN POE: THE RAVEN AND OTHER STORIES”. The 300 page graphic novel is still a ways off, but below you can check out all the details we have thus far.
WRITTEN BY: Edgar Allan Poe
ILLUSTRATIONS AND COVERS BY: Sam Kieth
“Master horror scribe Edgar Allan Poe’s works are re-presented in this illustrated collection of “The Raven” and other tales. Legendary comics artist Sam Kieth (Sandman, The Maxx) provides haunting interior and cover illustrations. Prepare yourself for telltale terror the likes of which only Poe and Kieth could command.”
“EDGAR ALLAN POE: THE RAVEN AND OTHER SHORT STORIES” Hits Stores This August From IDW Publishing! (MSRP -$16.99)
