Serj Tankian Taking the ‘Elect The Dead Symphony’ on the Road

System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian will be performing an orchestral interpretation of his solo album “Elect The Dead” on a special tour this summer.   Tankian will recreate Elect the Dead Symphony with some of the finest orchestras in Europe, including the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, The Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Italy’s Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana.

“Elect The Dead Symphony” made it’s debut in New Zealand with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra in March 2009.   That performance was captured on the Elect the Dead Symphony CD/DVD, which will be released by Serjical Strike/Reprise Records on March 9th, 2010. 6/17 Moscow, Russia, Crocus Hall (w/The Symphony Orchestra “Globalis”) –
