Exclusive Audio Interview: Slash Talks About ‘Slasher Films’

Earlier today, Slash (ex-Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver) held a press conference at the Sundance Film Festival where he spoke about his horror movie production company, Slasher Films. Since I live on the other side of the country, it would have been a bit difficult to have made the press conference. However, I got a chance to speak with Slash over the phone and I’ve got the full interview queued up for all you eager readers. We discuss what kinds of films Slasher Films will be putting out, Slash’s love of horror and where it began, what role Slash will play in the creation of these films and more. Check out the exclusive audio stream after the jump.

The idea for Slasher Films came about when Slash and his friend, Rob Eric of Scout Productions (Session 9, Transsiberian), were talking about horror and Rob called Slash the next day saying that he should start Slasher Films. A year later, their first film, tentatively titled ‘Nothing To Fear’, will hopefully be entering production this summer for a late 2011 release.
