A big fear in a naturally single player game is the addition of multiplayer. The funny thing is, people complain, and clamor about the fact that certain games don’t have multiplayer because once you finish the game, it loses most replayability. If a games single player is strong enough on its own it doesn’t really need multiplayer. Especially if no one is going to be playing it.
I’m nervous for the Dead Space 2 multiplayer as much as the next person. It looks like it could be cool if they have a horde type mode where you and some friends can battle tons of messed up monsters. Did everyone forget when we couldn’t go online and play games? When online multiplayer never existed? Dead Space 2 releases January 25th, 2011 for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
