I’ve been pretty excited about The Secret World for quite a bit now. The thing that really hooked me was the trailer below. But that isn’t all the game is going to be about. That’s just one town in the game. Not only are you going to up against zombies, but vampires, werewolves, monsters, EVERYTHING.
The Secret World will be an online MMO. Yes that doesn’t really fit into a lot of peoples gaming, but if they keep on with the path they are going, this could be just the type of game a lot of us are looking for. I would love to be up against the world with my friends at my back, magic powers along with many weapon choices to fight. The real news here though, is past the break. Sorry I tricked you into reading on, but that’s how we get paid. E.A. and Funcom have joined forces to co-publish The Secret World.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Funcom, one of the world-leaders in the development of massively multiplayer online games,” says David DeMartini, Senior Vice President and General Manager of EA Partners. “We are very excited to be able to take part in the growing online gaming category with such a highly anticipated title as ‘The Secret World’.”
Though the game was slated (I HATE that word, for whatever reason) to come out on the Xbox 360 AND PC, it looks like it may just be on the PC. But come ON, reach out to the console players!
