After hearing nothing regarding Dead Island since it was announced back in 2007, most of us assumed the game had entered that dark place video games go when they die prematurely. But like any good zombie game it survived, you could even say it was reanimated (Ha! See what I did there?) and so far the game is looking incredible.
If the trailer wasn’t enough for you I suggest checking out these brand new screenshots that show off some of the island’s expansive vistas and blood-filled pools. Head past the break to see what this island has to offer.
I should also mention the game’s official site has gone live, you can check it out here.
