I love me some Assassin’s Creed. Even if you’re not a huge fan of the series, though I don’t see how you couldn’t be, there’s no arguing Ubisoft’s impressive ability to vastly improve on each subsequent release. The protagonist from Assassin’s Creed 2 and Brotherhood will be returning in Revelations, and it’s obvious that quite a few years have passed since we last saw Ezio. At E3 earlier today we were given our first look at the game’s trailer debut, and while it’s no secret that I’m fond of the Assassin’s Creed trailers, this one is also pretty fantastic.
Unfortunately, despite my growing man crush on Ezio and his miraculous ability to mow down waves of soldiers and climb small towers in seconds, Revelations will be that final game that features him. Ezio, my darling, you will be missed. Here’s to hoping you go out with a bang.
