If you haven’t played Mortal Kombat yet then you should. I’ve heard it’s pretty good, in fact, I’ve heard it’s a bloodbath to remember. Most people seem to agree that the series has finally returned to what made the series great in the first place, and that’s buckets of gore, sick fatalities, and excessive violence (and not to mention a ton of content). While speaking to MCVUK, president of WB Interactive Martin Tremblay gave out some pretty impressive news.
Bringing the series back to its roots turned out to be a pretty fantastic idea since Mortal Kombat is on the verge of passing the 3 million sold mark. Tremblay continued by saying “With the launch of Mortal Kombat, we have already paid for the acquisition of the Midway assets, and we are just beginning to leverage this acquisition with much more to come.” That’s good news for fans because now that the series has proven itself to be a bloody cash cow that means the inevitable sequel will get more resources so it’ll be even better.
