Special FX guru Rick Baker, along with stars Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt showed up at the San Diego Comic Con yesterday to unveil the first ever look at Universal Pictures’ remake of The Wolfman. The film directed by Joe Johnston looks oddly reminiscent of BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA, with rich, lush sets… and Anthony Hopkins. In the clip we see Benecio covered in ripped clothes, and a severed body with entrails. Emily Blunt joked about hanging out with gazelles for inspiration, while Benicio talked a bit about finding real inspiration. “We took it back to the convention of the original Lon Chaney film.” WOLFMAN returns to theaters April 3, 2009.
