Hills Have Eyes Star Heads to ‘New Terminal Hotel’
Ezra Buzzington (The Hills Have Eyes, Mirrors, Rob Zombie’s Halloween) has joined Tiffany Shepis and Stephen Geoffreys in the cast of writer/director BC Furtney’s indie horror flick NEW TERMINAL HOTEL, which is scheduled for shooting next month outside Pittsburgh, PA. Read on for details.
Buzzington will star as “Spitz” a wheelchair-bound child pornographer who’s a resident of the hotel and a friend of Geoffreys’ lead character.
“I get why Spitz is into the terrible shit he’s into.” Says Buzzington. “He’s trapped in an act not of his own design so he takes his aggressions and frustrations out on the most innocent source he can find. He’s kind of a sick f*ck. And those are always the most fun to play.”
Does it worry him to think that some people may find the character offensive? “Worry me? Nah.” He says. “My last director quoted Russ Meyer, I think it was, who said ‘If you don’t offend somebody in the first five minutes of your movie, you’re doing something wrong.’ I’m totally hip to that.”
The “last director” Ezra refers to is Chad Ferrin of “Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill!” fame. He just directed Ezra as John Hopper, a 70′s-styled serial killer/rapist who returns from the past due to some shenanigans played by medical students in “Someone’s Knocking at the Door”. Currently in the editing stage of production.
Ezra most recently appeared as Terrence Berry in Alexandre Aja’s Mirrors starring Kiefer Sutherland.
