While The Blair Witch Project co-creator Daniel Myrick was out and about promoting his forthcoming release of The Objective, he revealed that he’s been developing a screenplay for a few years now that takes on mind control. Beyond the break you can read about Savant, which could be the writer/directors next project.
“Savant is about this guy named Jeremiah Stark who is incarcerated in this special facility,” Myrick told Sci Fi Wire in an exclusive interview on Tuesday. “He has this special ability to get inside people’s heads and influence their behavior, thus turning the people into mass murderers, [by] doing nothing more than having a regular conversation.”
“It’s going to be, for me, in budget and in scope, the biggest thing I’ve done so far,” he added. “I hope to be shooting that in the spring.”
Myrick also directed Believers and Solstice.
