Various New Bits: Paris Hilton, Win Money and Eyegore Awards!

Seriously, there just isn’t enough time in a day or enough space on the website for all of the small news bits floating around the web. Over the course of the day a whole bunch of tiny pieces of news was announced that range from a new Paris Hilton casting to a chance for you guys to win a disgusting $100,000 (if you win, I want a finders fee for telling you about it). EYEGORE AWARDS ANNOUNCED, RENAMED

Universal Studios Hollywood has officially announced this year’s Eyegore awards, only it has now been renamed to “Chiller-Eyegore Awards”. The seventh Eyegore Awards will take place on Friday, Oct. 2 at 7 pm, coinciding with the opening night of Universal Studios Hollywood’s “Halloween Horror Nights” (the best day of the year!). An edited broadcast of the ceremony will air on Chiller later in October, with an airdate TBD. Previous Eyegore recipients have included actors, performers and filmmakers who have made major achievements to the horror genre, including Alice Cooper, Patricia Arquette, Jennifer Tilly, Janet Leigh, Joss Whedon, Rob Zombie, Karen Black, Corey Feldman, Julie Benz, Shawnee Smith, Clive Barker, Roger Corman, Sheri Moon Zombie, Tobe Hooper and Bill Moseley. SUPERNATURAL HEADED TO PARIS

Paris Hilton is going to guest star in episode five of “Supernatural” this season, reports E! Online. “Details about Hilton’s role are being kept under wraps, but we are advised that freaking out is not necessary. A source close to the show tells us: ‘The fans should trust [show runner] Eric Kripke.’ (We’ve heard the storyline, and when you see it you will die. It’s awesome.)” Supernatural season five premieres Thursday, Sept. 10 at 9 p.m. on the CW.
