Fear has trumped romance at the boxoffice over Labor Day weekend. Fright flick The Final Destination remained the No. 1 movie for the second consecutive weekend with $12.4 million for the first three days of the holiday weekend. “The Final Destination” raised its 10-day total to $47.6 million. As for ol’ Michael Myers, don’t count on seeing him in 3D as the Rob Zombie directed sequel Halloween II dropped to #6 taking in only $5.6 million this weekend, for a total of only $25.6 million. It is nice to see that people still enjoy having a good time in theaters.
