Bloody Disgusting learned today of some major news. Stephen Susco, who penned The Grudge and The Grudge 2, is currently doing a rewrite on Paramount Pictures’ The Butcherhouse Chronicles, which is on deck(!) to be produced by Platinum Dunes (Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street). Frank Borin is no longer attached to direct. Originally written by Michael Hidalgo, Butcherhouse is a darkly comic horror stage show about four high school students out to discover the truth behind a mysterious old (haunted) property known as the Butcherhouse. Susco also has been developing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D for Twisted Pictures. No word on where that project is at.
