Sony Screen Gems declares war on man tomorrow when Legion arrives in theaters everywhere. In addition to the two video interviews we posted yesterday (with Tyerese Gibson and Kate Walsh), beyond the break you’ll find our exclusive one-on-one chats with stars Dennis Quaid, Adrianne Palicki and Paul Bettany. An obviously incredibly bored Quaid talks about hating working in the horror genre, but liking the stories, the twisted story with a big draw and religious themes of the Scott Stewart directed thriller. Adrianne Palicki talks similarities between Constantine and Terminator, taking inspiration from Linda Hamilton and the future of the franchise (minor spoilers), along with the difficulties of running around with a prosthetic, weighted stomach (she’s pregnant). Topliner Paul Bettany gets into playing a larger than life biblical figure and his perception of the Terminator similarities and the film’s multiple homage to various flicks, such as Dawn of the Dead (one his fav films).
“In the supernatural action thriller Legion, an out-of-the-way diner becomes the unlikely battleground for the survival of the human race. When God loses faith in Mankind, he sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. Humanity’s only hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner and the Archangel Michael (Paul Bettany).”
