Five days later… Wes Craven has responded (via Twitter) to an LA Times article that reported he would be getting behind the camera for Scream IV this coming May. “SCREAM 4 – LA Times has it wrong,” writes Craven, “I’m still in talks but nothing has been finalized.” So wait a second, Dimension Films hasn’t locked Craven down yet? WTF? I’ve been snide about the situation since the get-go, but this adds a little more speculation to the Weinstein Conmpany’s financial woes. It’s time to open betting, will Scream IV even happen?! What do you guys think?
