The first shots of Iron Sky, the Finnish-German science fiction comedy about Nazis from the dark side of the moon, have been shot and the first photos of the Moon Nazi troopers have been published. These one day green screen shoots are used for determining the final look, feel and mood of the movie, and to streamline the CGI and effects production process.
The budget of the movie is over 5.5 million euros and the cast included Götz Otto, Julia Dietze, Udo Kier and Tilo Prückner. The movie will be published in 2011.
Check out the teaser below!
“In the world of Iron Sky the Nazis fled to the Moon in 1945, and in 2018 they are coming back. The movie is the next project of the creators of the internet hit Star Wreck. This time the movie is aimed at worldwide theater distribution.”
