BLOOD FOREST: Midnight Releasing

The last remaining “Brave” of the Arkansas Cave Tribe, James Levi Wiley is caught in a race with destiny as Big Foot is rumored to be on the loose in the Ozark Mountains. A reporter from the United Kingdom, Virgil Williams, a drunk, is sent to Arkansas to get the scoop. As residents are mysteriously being killed, the town Sheriff is out to catch the killer as drama unfolds in the BLOOD FOREST.

This slasher follows the story of handyman and ex-con Arkin, who aims to repay a debt to his ex-wife by robbing his new employer’s country home. Unfortunately for Arkin, a far worse enemy has already laid claim to the property – and the family. As the seconds tick down to midnight, Arkin becomes a reluctant hero trapped by a masked “Collector” in a maze of lethal invention – the Spanish Inquisition as imagined by Rube Goldberg – while trying to rescue the very family he came to rob.

Six years after a violent car crash claimed her parent’s lives, Jesse is still trying to put her life back together. The situation is complicated by the fact that her parents virtually vanished, as did the accident wreckage and all police evidence. Looking for closure Jesse searches for clues leading her and a group of friends to break into an abandoned mental institution. But the building is far from deserted as the group discovers that a deranged doctor has taken up residence in the building’s underground — using Extreme Science to bring his wife back from the dead!
