Review and Trailer Debut for Violent ‘The Killer Inside Me’

In theaters and OnDemand June 18 from IFC Films is Michael Winterbotto’s The Killer Inside Me, the controversial thriller that features Jessica Alba’s character getting a beaten down by psychotic cop Casey Affleck. While you’ll find a “soft” trailer below (from what I hear, this gets pretty violent), you’ll also find John Marrone’s review from the Tribeca Film Festival here. Published in 1952, “The Killer Inside Me” concerns a deputy sheriff in a West Texas town whose kind Everyman demeanor masks his true dark self. He is slowly revealed as a psychotic killer.
