Relativity Acquires Strouse Brothers’ ‘Skyline’!

Published

on

There’s nothing worse than covering a film and then finding out it’s a piece of sh*t. Greg and Colin Strause dropped the ball when they delivered Aliens vs Predator: Requiem, although most of the blame is said to lay in Fox’s court. With their indie sci-fi horror project Skyline (set visit report) we at Bloody Disgusting were hoping, no praying that the brothers would knock it out of the park. According to Deadline, Mother’s Day producer and big Hollywood director Brett Ratner was so blown away by the film he personally took it to Relativity Media and sold it. In the film, after a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. It is said to have an extraterrestrial twist, and fits the template of recent modest budget thrillers like Paranormal Activity, Cloverfield and JJ Abrams’ next directing vehicle, Super 8.
