The boys over at AICN have posted an in-depth interview with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman who chats up a storm about the forthcoming TV series from AMC. He revealed that he’ll be writing the fourth and sixth episodes, which means he’ll be penning the final episode that should lead into the second season. “Everyone on the show is just assuming that it’s going to get a second season. We are all pretty optimistic because we know how good the show’s going to be.” Being directed by the awesome Frank Darabont, it’s hard to imagine the show being a failure on any level. Jon Bernthal, Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey DeMunn, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun all star. The project is set among a group of zombie survivors of an apocalypse who are led by a police officer, Rick Grimes, in search of a safe place to live. Click here to get up to speed on the older news.
