Now this is a little surprising. Consumerist recently hosted a poll to decide what the worst company in America is, and after over a quarter of a million votes the company that stands above the rest is none other than video game publisher Electronic Arts. That’s right, the publisher that brought us Battlefield, Dead Space, Mass Effect, and the upcoming The Secret World beat out the banks, oil, weapons, and tobacco companies for the title of worst company in the country.
I’m not going to defend EA, because like any major video game publisher they’ve done some shady things. I just don’t think they deserve this. What about you? Who do you think should’ve won?
