Yesterday we got familiar with the soldiers in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, and in this newly released gameplay video we get a look at another character in the game: Nemesis. That’s right, he’s back and sporting that nifty forearm-mounted rail gun from Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I would’ve preferred the RE3 Nemesis, complete with tentacle arms, but I’m a known supporter of more tentacle action in video games, so I could be a little bias.
Head past the break for the video, and tell me what you think? Are you looking forward to getting all up in Nemesis’ nasty grill when Operation Raccoon City releases on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 20? Just a heads up — the video might be a tiny bit spoilery, so if you’d like to keep things fresh you should stop watching about halfway through.
Now, we only get a brief taste of what this boss fight will be like, but what worries me is Nemesis seems pretty lazy in the video. This guy refused to leave Jill alone in RE3, and keeping up with her undoubtedly required a good amount of cardio. Instead of charging at you, balls-out, rail gun erect, he just stands there spraying machine gun fire. Hopefully there’s more to the boss fight than that, because Nemesis deserves better.
