Shyamalan’s ‘Devil’ Arrives in the Form of a Trailer and Poster!!

Believe or not, I think for those horror fans who have not seen REC, John Erick and Drew Dowdle’s Quarantine is a perfectly fine redo. In fact, I’m a pretty big fan of their indie The Poughkeepsie Tapes, the verite film you’ll probably never see. On September 17, Universal Pictures will release their next genre effort, Devil, which was produced by Mr. M. Night Shyamalan. Only time will tell if that’s a bad thing (while he continues to fail me as a director, his producing abilities are astounding). The trailer looks pretty stupendous, and carries an obvious inspiration from “Ten Little Indians” (read more here). The gorgeous official poster features elevator buttons, with a little nod to good ol’ Satan. Color me excited!
