Remaining unsolved for the last 3 years, Paramount hopes to clear the air on October 1 when they finally release Case 39, Christian Alvart’s thriller that takes on creepy kids and even creepier stars (yes, I’m talking to you, Renee Zellweger). While the date was officially announced this morning (and already buried under a sh*t ton of news), this afternoon we got our hands on the official domestic trailer and one sheet, hopefully solidifying the release. I just want it out already, please, I beg you. Watch the footage below and tell us what you think. Are you gonna see it, or will you check out Let Me In on October 1 instead?
“In Case 39, family services social worker Emily Jenkins (Renée Zellweger) thinks she has seen it all… until she meets 10-year old Lilith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland) and the child’s cruel and dangerous parents. Her worst fears are confirmed when the parents try to harm Lily, their only daughter.
