B-D just stumbled upon this HUGE poster showing star David Tennant (aka “Dr. Who”) as Peter Vincent in the Touchstone Fright Night remake; in this incarnation, Vincent is a Las Vegas magician instead of a late-night horror movie TV host. The poster, hanging from a bank of glass elevators in a hotel lobby, is confirmed to be tied to the remake and is presumably a faux-advertisement for the Vincent character’s macabre stage show, conveniently titled…wait for it…Fright Night!
Anybody else get a “Michael Sheen in Underworld: Evolution” vibe from this baby?

    With the trailer going live this Friday, May 13, Bloody Disgusting received two new hi-res stills from the Craig Gillespie-directed Fright Night 3D, which opens in theaters on August 19. The image below features your first hi-res look at David Tennant as the magician Peter Vincent, while inside you'll see another still featuring stars Anton Yelchin and Toni Collette. "Charlie Brewster (Anton) is a high school senior who's on top of the world--that is until Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door and Charlie discovers that he is a vampire preying on the neighborhood."   • Meet the Intense Peter Vincent in ‘Fright Night 3D’

    The boys over at io9 have landed two exclusive images from Dreamworks' Fright Night 3D, which is having its world premiere at the San Diego Comic-Con this month (it's so comic related, right?) Said images feature David Tennant, who was cast as Peter Vincent in the remake. But instead of playing a doddering but lovable host of a late-night horror show, Tennant is a Vegas magician who kills vampires when he's not writhing about on stage in his horrible Criss Angel leather pants. We can not wait to watch Tennant start killing both fake stage vampires and real-life vampires (including Collin Farrell). You'll get to see him in action when Craig Gillespie's flick hits theaters on August 19.   • Tour Peter Vincent’s Mansion in ‘Fright Night 3D’ Clip

    We've just now landed a fourth clip from Fright Night 3D that gives you a tour of Peter Vincent's (David Tenenat) "collection" of vampire artifacts that includes his degree from an online vamp course. In addition, there's an extended clip where the new "Evil" Ed Thompson (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) chats with Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) about his new neighbor. Directed by Craig Gillespie for release on August 19, the remake to Tom Holland's classic embraces its R-rating, and has been hoping to gain the attention of Twilight haters. "Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all going on: he's running with the popular crowd and dating the most coveted girl in his high school. In fact, he's so cool he's even dissing his best friend. But trouble arrives when Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there's something not quite right--but everyone, including Charlie's mom (Toni Collette), doesn't notice. After observing some very strange activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on the neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic. "
