DreamWorks Moves ‘Fright Night’ Next Door for Summer 2011
DreamWorks is showing a little confidence in their 3-D remake of Fright Night as they’ve moved the release into the summer of 2011. The studio will now release the Colin Farrell and Anton Yelchin starrer in theaters on August 19, 2011, two months earlier than originally slated. Directed by Craig Gillespie, the original Fright Night, written and directed by Tom Holland in 1985, was a horror comedy about a teenager who discovers that his neighbors are vampires. The new film takes place in Vegas.
