‘Alice’ Offered Role in ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’

Before we get to our casting news, Deadline is reporting that David Slade (30 Days of Night), Mike Newell (Prince of Persia) and Doomsday‘s Neil Marshall are all in the mix to direct Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Lionsgate’s feature film adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel that flips Jane Austen’s story on its head and tells the story of Elizabeth Bennet and her four sisters becoming zombie slayers and taught how to fight like Japanese ninjas by Mr Darcy. Some news Bloody Disgusting can exclusively add is that offers were made to both Bradley Cooper (Case 39, The Dark Fields, Hangover) and Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), with strong interest Tilda Swinton ( Adaptation, Constantine). We’re working on confirming and will get back to you shortly.
