One of my personal favorite genre films out of the 2011 TIFF was Lovely Molly, The Blair Witch Project co-director Eduardo Sanchez’s supernatural horror film that brings viewers face-to-face with the Devil.
Gearing up for the May 18 release via Image Entertainment, Bloody Disgusting has been provided with an exclusive video series entitled Lovely Molly: Path to Madness. The chilling conclusion has now been added below.
In the new horror thriller Lovely Molly, Molly Reynolds (Gretchen Lodge) transforms from a happy newlywed to a person capable of unspeakable acts — this series explores the origins of Molly’s dark descent. In this episode — “Lovely Molly: Path to Madness Part 2” — Molly’s turbulent history and the sins of her father are further explored.
“When newlywed Molly Reynolds returns to her long-abandoned family home, frightful reminders of a nightmarish childhood begin seeping into her new life. She soon begins an inexorable descent into evil that blurs the lines between psychosis and possession.”
