Sundance ’11: ‘Vampire’ First Genre Film Announced

It’s that time of year again where the best indie films from around the globe crash into Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival. While we await the announcement of the Park City at Midnight line-up, it was revealed today that Shunji Iwai’s Vampire will have its world premiere as part of the World Cinema Dramatic competition. The Japanese-Canadian production follows a seemingly normal young man prowls online chatrooms and message boards for the perfect girl who will ensure his survival. Kevin Zegers, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Rachael Leigh Cook, Kristin Kreuk, Aoi Yu, and Adelaide Clemens all star.
