‘Girls’ Experience the Slumber Party from Hell

Truth or dare, spin the bottle, some sexual undertones and a whole lotta panties (assuming they’re above 18, of course), Producer Peter Safran (Buried, ATM) has set Kyle Patrick Alvarez to direct thriller Girls. Penned by Alvarez and Adam Shazar, Girls brings a fresh twist to a conventional thriller in telling the story of a slumber party gone wrong after four teenage girls are terrorized by a pair of kidnappers. “When Adam and I sat down to write ‘Girls,’ we took a lot of inspiration from the ambition it took to make a movie like ‘Buried,’ so I couldn’t be more excited about getting to make a film with Peter,” Alvarez said. I choose….. dare!
