It’s been a strange year for fans of the original Walking Dead comic series. One of the most prized horror comics became a pop culture success, breeding a massive fan base that is rarely seen in the comics industry. The comic can barely be spoken about without mention of the AMC series. There are those who absolutely love the show, but would never purchase a comic book in their life. Others chastise the show for not sticking true to the source material. Let’s not let this divide take away from the landmark issue that’s approaching, and the wild successes of a horror comic that has been around for nearly a decade. As Kirkman’s series nears #100, you can be sure that shit will hit the fan in the issues leading up to the big event. For those who are sad season 2 is over and cannot wait for season 3, maybe you should pick up the comics to feed that undead hunger. Below you can check the preview for issue #96 from Image comics.
