Maiara Walsh (“Desperate Housewives”) has landed a leading role in independent feature Grace, not to be confused with Paul Solet’s indie from 2009 (or the 30+ other films of the same name).
Variety reports that Walsh will play the best friend of the title character, played by Kelcie Stranahan (pictured below; Under the Bed). She’s killed in an accident that Grace is accused of causing and reaches out from beyond the grave to help unveil the truth about what happened.
John Stimpson is directing from a script by Marcy Holland. Pic is produced by Mark Donadio and Miriam Marcus.
