A sadist Santa has come to punish the naughty of Cryer, and this Christmas Eve will be anything but a Silent Night…

Now filming in Winnipeg is what’s being called a “loose remake” of Charles E. Sellier Jr.’s 1984 classic Silent Night, Deadly Night.

Donal Logue (Shark Night 3D), Jamie Kennedy (Scream), Brendan Fehr (Final Destination), Lisa Marie (Sleepy Hollow) and Ellen Wong (Scott Pilgrim vs the World) have all been cast opposite Jaime King (My Bloody Valentine, Mother’s Day) and Malcolm McDowell all star in Anchor Bay’s Silent Night, which is being directed by Under the Bed and Automaton Transfusion helmer Steven C. Miller.

Bloody Disgusting exclusively learned that the slashing begins on a snowy Christmas Eve in Cryer, WI. The normally quiet town is bustling with activity as the the residents are getting ready for the big day. The events take place around the towns annual Santa Parade, which has brought a record number of Santas to town. Deputy Sheriff Aubrey Bradimore (King) is stuck reluctantly working the night shift, dealing with all of the drunken Santas, road closures, and stressed out locals — but things are about to take a deadly turn. A vicious serial killer, dressed as Santa Claus, has made his own “naughty list” and anyone on it is in big trouble. As the body count rises, Aubrey races to discover the killer’s true identity – but in a town full of Santas, shady characters and dark secrets, finding the real murderer will take more then a Christmas miracle.

Malcolm McDowell will play Sheriff Cooper, a small-town hero ready for some big-time action.

‘Bogieville’ – Bloody Exclusive Trailer Previews Southern Fried Vampire Movie

Published

on

From Magnificent Films and Silent D Pictures, director Sean Cronin’s vampire movie Bogieville is headed to the Cannes market, and Bloody Disgusting has been exclusively provided with the bloody teaser trailer this afternoon. Sink your fangs into this first look trailer below.

Deadline first reported on Bogieville earlier this week, describing the upcoming film as a “southern fried vampire thriller.” And the vamps in this one look pretty gnarly, with their shark-like teeth reminding us a bit of the bloodsuckers in Radio Silence’s new movie Abigail.

In the film, “A young couple on the run come across the eponymous derelict American trailer park, where they soon learn that the residents are a pack of blood-thirsty vampires.”

Arifin Putra (The Raid 2) and Eloise Lovell Anderson (Villain) star alongside Cronin.

Henry P. Gravelle wrote the screenplay.

Stay tuned for more and find exclusive images and poster art underneath the trailer.
