Simon Hunter Replaces Renny Harlin for ‘Full Moon Fever’

More news revealed on Simon Hunter’s (Safe House, Mutant Chronicles) official website as he’ll be directing an adaptation of Joe Casey’s comic series Full Moon Fever. He’ll be replacing Renny Harlin who was attached back in 2004 (jeeeez; development hell anyone?) Produced by Stephen L’Heureux of Solipsist films in Los Angeles, the pic is set in the not-too-distant future. A group of blue-collar workers is sent to repair the deserted first lunar base on the dark side of the moon; they soon discover they’re not alone as they fall prey to a pack of ravenous werewolves. “It’s a real high concept fun movie,” reports Simon, “think of it as Dog Soldiers in space!
