North Bank Entertainment has teamed up with legendary Italian director Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust) and actor Giovanni Lombardo Radice (City of the Living Dead) to develop a sequel to the 1980 cult film The House on the Edge of the Park.
The screenplay will be written by Andrew Jones, from a story by Ruggero Deodato and Giovanni Lombardo Radice. The film will be produced by Ian Grey and Andrew Jones for North Bank Entertainment.
Ruggero Deodato will direct the film (I’ll believe it when I see it; if you recall the Cannibal Holocaust sequel debacle), with Giovanni Lombardo Radice reprising his role as ‘Ricky’.
In the first film also starring David Hess, two lowlife punks invite themselves to a party at a posh villa and after being taunted by their snobbish hosts, hold everybody hostage and subject them to various torture and mayhem.
