Even though David Slade is now directing Daredevil for Fox, the director of Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night, and Eclipse, still hopes to get behind the camera for the long-gestured The Last Voyage of the Demeter, which appears to be sinking yet again.
“The Last Voyage of the Demeter, Noomi Rapace and Ben Kingsley want to do it, so do I,” states Slade via Twitter.
So the question remains, when will the busy Slade and Repace share free time to tell this tale of Dracula? I’m guessing (unfortunately) never.
Written by Bragi Schut, it places the voyage center stage in a tale that is reminiscent of the first movie in the Alien franchise, in which a crew is slaughtered one-by-one by a mysterious passenger.
