Erin Carufel Joins Serial Killer Hunt in ‘Gone’

Actress Erin Carufel (Untraceable) has been cast in Lakeshore Entertainment’s upcoming thriller Gone, which also stars Amanda Seyfried (Red Riding Hood, Jennifer’s Body), Emily Wickersham (I Am Number Four), Wes Bentley (P2) and Jennifer Carpenter (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Quarantine, “Dexter”), writes THR.

The film, also from Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, “revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job. But the police do not believe Jill, who knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.

Gone, which will be directed by Heitor Dhalia and was penned by Allison Burnett, begins shooting in Portland, Ore., next month.
