I can’t help but laugh just a little bit. This morning we brought you two very fresh clips from J.J. Abrams’ Super 8 (review) — and when I say “fresh” I am referring to the fact that they weren’t from the train crash sequence. In an unsurprising twist on the day, Paramount has released yet another stock of footage that blends the handful of previously displayed “train wreck” scenes (including the one that was a blend of three previous clips, ha!). If my count is right, this is the sixth clip? Anyways, you can watch six whole minutes inside, which does carry a few fresh snippets here and there.
Opening June 10, “In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.”
